School district budget study sessions and a board of architectural review meeting are on the Scarsdale calendar this week.

SCARSDALE, N.Y. – Two study sessions for the Scarsdale School District budget will be open to the public this week in room 170-172 in the board of education wing of Scarsdale High School. The sessions, Monday and Wednesdays, get underway at 6:30 p.m.

The draft preliminary proposed budget for 2012-13 will be presented to the BOE at the two sessions. Monday, the board will hear presentations on enrollment and staffing, revenues and the tax rate and central administration. At Wednesday's session, administration and program improvement and student support services will be discussed, along with transportation and other topics.

Two more sessions are planned for Feb. 13 and 15.

Also on the agenda this week, the Scarsdale Board of Architectural Review plans do discus the following:

  • A new house by JAF Builders at 75 Hampton Road
  • Landscaping at 33Meadow Road
  • A Paris Interiors sign at 35 Harwood Court
  • A new house at 11 Wynmor Road
  • A portico and doors at 5 Elm Road
  • A terrace at 44 Paddington Road
